Oh you horrible man!

I am planning to stop using my favorite words (thingy, bits, stuff, eeh, more stuff) and instead learn some new phrases from 1920s -1950s like 'Oh you horrible man!'. But first I need to find some.

You should watch old movies. I like Brief Encounter. You could also pick up som angst-ridden facial expressions from that one. And read some P.G. Wodehouse.

Try the following:

goodness gracious me!
Christ on a bike
dear oh dear.

PG it is I think. Thanks for the tips.

Barb, after a day with you and the wee ones I think the one that comes to mind is 'Oh dear' - to quote both you and Cam

Haha about the oh dear! Its so true though having kids makes you have tourettes syndrome and talk to yourself in pigeon English. Or in my case Hunglish!

I have found a 1920's book of English etiquette for you!
